MD Elite Outlaws is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth basketball organization founded in 2017 by Phillip Graham and based in Waldorf, St. Charles County, Maryland. The program was created to provide young athletes with a structured and competitive environment where they can grow as basketball players while also developing the discipline, character, and leadership skills needed to succeed in life.
Since its founding, MD Elite Outlaws has been committed to developing athletes both on and off the court. While competition is an important part of the game, our focus extends beyond wins and losses. We use basketball as a platform to help young people build confidence, learn valuable life lessons, and reach their full potential
Our mission is to develop disciplined, skilled, and confident athletes by teaching the fundamentals of basketball while emphasizing character, accountability, and leadership. Through dedicated coaching, competitive play, and a supportive environment, we help athletes build the habits and mindset necessary to succeed not only in sports, but also in school and in life.
Player development is the foundation of everything we do at MD Elite Outlaws. Our program is designed to help athletes improve their skills, basketball knowledge, and overall athletic performance through structured training and competitive opportunities.
Our development approach focuses on:
- Teaching strong basketball fundamentals
- Improving individual skills and basketball IQ
- Building physical conditioning and athletic performance
- Developing mental toughness and confidence
- Encouraging teamwork and communication
We take pride in teaching the game the right way, ensuring that each athlete understands not only how to play, but also how to think, react, and lead on the court.
MD Elite Outlaws competes in competitive leagues and tournaments throughout the region. These opportunities allow our athletes to gain valuable game experience while competing against strong competition.
Through travel tournaments and organized league play, players are challenged to improve their performance, develop confidence under pressure, and continue growing as athletes.
Our program serves athletes ages 14–17, helping prepare them for the next level of competition, including high school varsity basketball and future development opportunities.
While skill development is important, we believe building strong character is just as valuable.
Our program emphasizes:
- Sportsmanship and respect
- Personal accountability
- Leadership development
- Academic responsibility
- Positive decision-making
We believe great athletes are also great teammates, leaders, and role models within their communities.
MD Elite Outlaws is more than just a basketball team, it is a community. Our program brings together players, families, coaches, and supporters who share a commitment to youth development and positive growth.
We strive to create an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and motivated to reach their goals. Families become an important part of our extended team as we work together to help every player succeed.
As athletes continue to develop, MD Elite Outlaws grows with them. Our goal is to provide a structured pathway for long-term development that allows players to build their skills, confidence, and leadership over time.
We are committed to guiding our athletes throughout their journey and helping them grow into responsible and motivated young adults.
At MD Elite Outlaws, basketball is just the beginning.
Our program is about building character, creating opportunities, and preparing young athletes for the future. Through the lessons learned on the court hard work, teamwork, perseverance, and accountability our players gain skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
When athletes join MD Elite Outlaws, they become part of something bigger than the game
